Solar at New River Sports Centre: an exciting new project.

 

en10ergy is currently exploring with Fusion, provider of many of Haringey’s leisure facilities, the possibility of a PV installation on the grandstand roof at New River Sports Centre, White Hart Lane, Wood Green. The current proposal is for a set of panels capable of generating 50kWp, about the same capacity as our recent installation at Woodside High School, just across the road. The site is leased by Fusion from Haringey Council, and so we are also in negotiation with the Council for the permissions and preparations which will be necessary. We will announce details of a share offer in due course, once the go-ahead is given for the project.

 

 

The Mayor of London now has a fund to assist in the initial development of renewables projects, and en10ergy has been awarded money towards the surveying of the site, and preparation of specifications. The initial survey will use a specialist drone-operator for a close examination of the roof structure.
