In a bid to further fortify its commitment to sustainable community development, En10ergy is thrilled to welcome Nadia Smith as the new Project Development Officer. With a fervent dedication to expanding the reach of community-driven solar projects, Nadia steps into her role poised to make a tangible impact on Haringey’s environmental landscape.
Nadia’s primary objective revolves around extending the organization’s footprint within the community, with a particular focus on bolstering solar photovoltaic (PV) and LED lighting installations. The overarching aim? To foster sustainability while ensuring cost-efficiency for participating buildings.
Today, Nadia extends a hand to the community, seeking assistance in several key areas:
- Insights on Potential Sites: Residents are encouraged to share insights on community buildings within Haringey that could benefit from solar panels or LED lighting upgrades. Whether it’s schools, community centers, or leisure facilities, sites with significant energy needs and suitable infrastructure are prime candidates. Attributes such as large unshaded roofs, high electricity consumption, and a commitment to community welfare are key factors.
- Networking Opportunities: Do you have connections or know of organizations that resonate with En10ergy’s mission? Nadia welcomes introductions or recommendations as the organization seeks to expand its network of support in making Haringey greener.
- Investment Opportunities: Towards the year’s end, En10ergy anticipates launching a new share offer to raise funds for upcoming community projects. Those interested in making environmentally conscious and community-focused investments are encouraged to keep En10ergy in mind.
For those curious about En10ergy’s initiatives or wishing to discuss ideas further, Nadia invites direct communication via email at nadia@en10ergy.org.uk. Please note that Nadia works part-time and appreciates your patience as she diligently responds to emails.
