- Support budget tracking and confirm completion of contract deliverables
2. Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as primary point of contact for LB Haringey Council, local schools, and project partners
- Schedule and facilitate stakeholder meetings or check-ins (online or in person)
- Ensure all external communications are timely, clear, and aligned with project values
- Provide summary updates or milestone briefings to the local authority and funders
3. Final Report Development:
- Lead the drafting and editing of the final public report, working closely with the Research Assistant and Data Analyst
- Ensure all sections are clear, accessible, and evidence-based, including methodology, workshop findings, survey results, and financial models
- Coordinate the integration of visuals, graphics, and community quotes into the report
- Manage internal review and sign-off processes for the report and any accompanying materials
4. Workshop & Evaluation Support:
- Oversee final delivery of the inclusive ownership co-design workshop (scheduled for October)
- Synthesize feedback and learnings from the inclusive ownership co-design workshop into reporting materials
- Oversee final delivery of the student workshops/lessons (scheduled for Sept-Dec delivery) working closely with the external facilitator
- Coordinate external facilitator briefing, agenda design, materials preparation, and workshop follow-up
5. Communications & Knowledge Sharing:
- Support the framing of key messages, lessons learned, and success stories from the project
- Coordinate sharing of final outputs with relevant networks (e.g. Community Energy England, council departments, or local press)
- Ensure all outputs are saved and archived in shared platforms for long-term access
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management, ideally within community energy, environmental education, or non-profit settings
- Strong track record of managing teams and contractors to deliver time-sensitive outputs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience producing high-quality reports, briefings, or publications
- Familiarity with managing relationships with councils, schools, or local partners
- Confident working independently and using shared platforms (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox)

- Experience with community engagement or participatory design processes
- Familiarity with grant funded programs and community led approaches in climate work
- Experience securing or managing public sector funding
- Experience in maintaining websites and social media platforms (e.g. wordpress, linkedin pages)

This freelance role is approximately 0.4 FTE, starting in September 2025 and continuing until the end of December. There is potential for extension, depending on funding and project development. The majority of the work can be completed remotely, with some in-person attendance required for events or stakeholder meetings in Haringey. Hours are flexible and can be arranged around other commitments, though availability for team meetings and key delivery moments will be necessary.
