en10ergy Limited was set up in 2009 as an Industrial and Provident Society, and its rules follow the model of rules for organisations of that sort. Under recent legislation, it has been reclassified, along with all other Industrial and Provident Societies, as a “Registered Society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014”, and is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
The Rules of the Society set out its aims, how it is run and its decisions made, the terms of membership and how you join (which is by buying one or more shares), how your shareholding works, and the rights and responsibilities of members. A copy of the rules can be found here. (Please allow time for the document to load.)
