Projects

En10ergy was set up to facilitate renewable energy and carbon emission reduction projects in Muswell Hill.

New Projects:

If you are interested in registering as a potential host site, please fill out our form here. To find out more about how a community energy project could work at your community building, have a read of our article for new sites.

Renewable energy projects:

  • Fortismere School Solar PV installatiionn, 2019
  • Solar Panel Installation at Woodside High School, Wood Green (financed by Community Share offer 2017)
  • Installation of Solar Photovoltaic panels on Muswell Hill buildings (funded by DECC Low Carbon Communities Challenge and by the GLA through their Low Carbon Zone funding)

Carbon emission reduction projects:

  • Muswell Hill Low Carbon Zone (businesses, households and community buildings in a limited area south of Muswell Hill Broadway – this project is being run jointly with Haringey Council)
  • Cutting carbon outside of the Low Carbon Zone (busting carbon emissions in the rest of Muswell Hill and surrounding areas)
  • Installing LEDs at Woodside High School

All financial surplus from en10ergy projects is used to fund the work of Muswell Hill Sustainability Group (MHSG) to cut carbon emissions and waste in the local area.
