zero-carbon community energy

en10ergy AGM 2012

If you’re a shareholder in our community enterprise en10ergy, or would like to be, come along to our AGM on Thursday 18th October at 7.30pm.  The meeting takes place at Birchwood Hall, 171 Fortis Green Road, London N10 3BG.  So far we’ve put solar panels on the roof of M & S on Muswell Hill Broadway and on Muswell Hill Methodist Church, delivered huge carbon savings in the Low Carbon Zone, set up the Low Carbon Buying Group and run the 100 Homes projects.  We’ve now got lots of ideas for further projects that we’d like to share with you, and we’re looking to you for inspiration too!
Following the AGM there will be a public meeting with Chris Church, chair of the Low Carbon Community Network.  He will be talking about – Local action on climate change and energy – how do we have the greatest possible impact

I am interested in exploring the feasibility of heating St Michael’s Church and adjoining Church Hall by placing solar panel on the roof.
Presently the gas bills are getting too much for us to keep the church warm in winter and a solution must be found; in addition to saving the planet of course.
